Sokka stood at the base of the tower. There were no doors, no outer stairs, and no windows, save one at the top of the turret.
"Love of my life!" he shouted. "Let down your hair!"
He waited for a moment, knowing what would happen. It was his third-favourite part of their meetings.
Sokka looked up in time to see a river of what appeared to be black silk cascade from the window and landed in a pile at his feet. She did have magnificent hair.
He wrapped a thick strand of her hair around his hand, planted his feet on the side of the tower, and began climbing. It took considerably less time now than it did the first time he tried it, but it still felt like an eternity before he reached the top.
After his fifty foot ascent, he climbed through the window and laid his eyes on the most beautiful sight in the world: Toph stood in the middle of the room, one hand on her hip, the other holding a fistful of her voluminous hair.
"Why do you insist on doing it this way?"
It was the same question he was assailed with every time he came to visit. He always gave the same answer. He took two steps toward her, grabbed her waist, and kissed her hard. It was his second-favourite part of their meetings.
"It's more fun this way."
Toph backed up a step as she caught her breath. "You know, I could just use stairs. It's not like I'm a prisoner here. One simple earthbending move and I'm out."
"I know that. But if we used the stairs, then we couldn’t do this." He snaked his arm around her waist again. "Coming Pascal?"
A tiny green chameleon sprang from his hiding place beneath the windowsill and scurried atop Toph's head.
Sokka wound her hair around the hook outside the window, made sure everyone was ready, and jumped.
The journey down, hanging onto Toph, was his favourite part of their meetings.
They landed with ease, and Toph gathered her hair around her. "So," she asked, "same place as always."
Sokka took her hand and intertwined their fingers. "Naturally. It is the best pub in the kingdom."
Toph sighed as they walked out of the valley. "Yeah, it's the best alright. I just wish it wasn't named the Snugly Duckling."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey everyone!

The Phoebster is back! Did ya miss me?
While I was over in the states visiting Leona, we went to see Tangled and I couldn't resist drawing Toph and Sokka like this. XD
Now I know very well that if anyone tried to lock Toph in a tower she would earthbend them into oblivion.

And I know she would never wear a dress like that, heck she wouldn't wear one period! But its a cross over pic so, what can ya do?
I actually had fun doing this so I think I'm gonna do more Tokka/Disney crossovers.

And yes, I'm well aware that the background sucks, I can't draw them to save my life!

And of course my scanner messed up the colours. Made everything too dark.
Now, on to Tangled. THAT MOVIE WAS SO FLIPPING DEADLY!!! I

it! I can't get over how great it is! I still wished they made it in the classic 2D animation, but its still a great movie.

I'm definitely gonna go see it again when its released over here.
And of course Leona wrote that little ficlet there. After I showed her the rough sketch she insisted that she write something for it.

Now I'm off to bed. G'night.
